Floating Strobe Water Light - WL-1
Recent intense technological developments in the camera industry enable us to bring you this advanced strobe light at a significantly lower price.
Built to meet Code of Federal Regulations sub part 161.010; this rugged water light produces brilliant omni-directional (360 degrees) strobe flashes automatically when thrown overboard and is visible for miles at sea.
When used with a 6 volt alkaline lantern battery (not included) it will flash at the U.S.C.G. required rate for over 52 hours and will still flash at least every 2 seconds after 7 days of continuous operation (meets U.S.C.G. requirements - 46 CFR-161.010).
A stainless steel mounting bracket is included. Dimensions are 11 1/2" long, and 4" maximum diameter, 1.85 lbs.

If a person falls off a boat moving at only 3 knots, they will be 50 feet away in only 10 seconds! In waves, the person in the water will loose sight of the horseshoe buoy with- out an overboard pole. The person on the boat will loose sight of the victim in the water, due to waves, without an overboard pole.
Safety equipment on any boat going offshore should include U.S.C.G. approved de- vices, such as our OP-120 or OPST-120 crew overboard pole and our WL-1 water-light for night time emergencies. The overboard pole will allow visual reference for recovery in daytime, the water-light will automatically flash for night time recovery and the aid the victim in the water.
