    I needed to shorten the two lower stays on my split backstay. The Hi-Mod compression fittings, which I've used before, are the absolute best solution for issues like this. With proper measuring & YouTube video instruction, the fittings are easy to install & provide confidence that they will remain strong & will be long service - outlasting the cable.
