Each end plug is a 3-part assembly comprising a plastic insert, threaded eye-stud and tube cover cap. The insert bore is only partially threaded, resulting in the insert expanding as the eyestud is screwed home, jamming the insert firmly in the tube and removing the need for fixing screws or rivets. If the tube has not been squarely cut, no problem. The end cap completely covers the cut end, producing a neatly finished job every time.
