Good but rusts quickly
Well made snap shackle with a nice thimble cover to protect the line. I put one in service right before my pacific crossing and it had quite a bunch of cosmetic surface rust on it when I arrived in French Polynesia a month later. The part was located on above the rail on a utility halyard that was occasionally splashed. I am disappointed that the piece had not been well passivated before leaving the factory. However this is the only fault I have found with this item.
