Tariff Updates

We are observing how the tariffs are behaving. Lots of our products are imported from Europe and some of the manufacturers are not providing heads up about price increases. We will do everything in our power to hold the best prices, but please consider that in these uncertain times we may be forced to increase the prices without previous notification.

We really appreciate your understanding and look forward to working with you.

What does this mean for you?

  • Some imported products may show a higher price than usual.
  • Prices may change as shipping rates adjust globally.
  • We are committed to providing the best possible pricing and transparency at all times.

How we’re handling it:

  • We only adjust prices when absolutely necessary.
  • We continuously monitor shipping rates and update pricing accordingly.
  • We’ll clearly notify you if a product is affected by tariffs.

    Wichard Opening PreFeeder

Posted by Chris on Aug 20th 2024

Second best thing since sliced bread!! On boats with a foil rather than hanks, seems like a little thing, but is brilliant … elegant and simple, providing greater flexibility.
Most of the time it' just avoids needing to drop the head out of the track to re-feed it through both the prefeeder and back into the track, when dropping the jib,. Instead just drop the jib but keep the head in the foil, then close prefeeder on the bolt bolt rope below. Saves time on the foredeck and co-ordination taking up on the halyard to keep head in the foil. So that’s the plus the majority of the time, but other benefit is the flexibility to just open and release the sail on those occasions that should never happen, but somehow occasionally seem to, where a non-opening prefeeder is half way up the bolt rope ….. aborted hoist or whatever.
