Allen Brothers 30mm Dynamic Flip Flop Block with A..77 Cleat
30mm Dynamic Flip Flop Block - Aluminium Cam Cleat
Flip Flop Blocks are designed to pivot around a central fixing point, keeping the rope close to the deck, mast or boom while still allowing the block to articulate to the correct lead angle. This helps minimise friction while guiding the rope efficiently.
Relocatable Sheave
Features two mounting positions for the Dynamic Bearing sheave. Simply remove the clevis pin holding the sheave in place and relocate it to either fixing hole in the main body. This provides greater installation flexibility across a wider range of applications.
Dynamic Bearing Sheave
The sheave features Allen's Dynamic Bearing technology, using twin rows of stainless-steel ball bearings running on a stainless-steel rail. This provides superior load-carrying capability and longevity compared to bearing systems that run on plastic rails.
Removable Design
A clevis pin connects the main Flip Flop body to the backing plate and serves as the pivot point. Removing the pin separates the body from the backing plate, allowing easier installation and enabling the body to be fitted either way up.
Aluminium Cam Cleat
Fitted with the A..77 small ball bearing cam cleat. The jaw profile is optimised for smooth rope entry and exit, reducing rope wear. Ball bearings and twin coil springs provide a smooth, consistent cleating action.
Applications
Ideal for:
- Halyards
- Pole launchers
- Control lines
Please Note
The large version of the backing plate shown in some product images is not included.
