The Optiparts Deck Collar provides reliable mast support while allowing smooth movement for accurate Optimist rig tuning. Manufactured from low-friction Delrin, the collar works together with the Optiparts Mast Sleeve (EX1211) to reduce friction and help protect the mast from wear.
The oval inner diameter allows maximum fore-and-aft mast movement with minimal sideways play, while the tapered inner shape allows the mast to be raked correctly. The EX12101 deck collar and EX1211 mast sleeve together form the most commonly used deck collar combination for the Optimist. Both components are also supplied together as the EX1210 set.
