These technical sailing shorts are made from quick-dry, UV-protective stretch fabric and feature a durable reinforced seat panel perfect for keelboat sailing. An evolution of the original Technical Shorts, this updated design is the result of close collaboration with our Rooster team sailors to deliver the best possible performance and fit.
Weve added large rear pockets specifically designed to hold our Race Armour deck pads, offering extra comfort during long hikes on the rail. The updated fabric is lighter, softer, and stretchier than before, providing exceptional comfort, flexibility, and durability where it matters most.
Features:
- Secure double popper front closure with additional Velcro tab for extra hold
- Raised back waistband with elasticated panel for improved fit and coverage
- Reinforced seat panels for added durability in high-wear areas
- Double belt loops on both sides to securely hold a knife pouch in place
- Right-side Velcro pocket for easy access storage
- Left-side zip pocket for secure storage
- Zipped hand pockets with mesh lining for drainage
- Internal pockets designed to hold Race Armour deck pads
- UV protection rating of 30+
- Durable Water Repellent (DWR) coating for water resistance
- Fast-drying fabric for all-day comfort
