Optiparts Optimist High Heel Mast Plug for Racing Spars
The Optiparts High Heel Mast Plug is a low-friction Delrin heel plug for Optimist racing masts. The raised heel increases the effective mast height and provides a smooth contact surface in the mast step, allowing the mast to rotate freely.
It can also be used to retrofit an existing racing mast. When fitting a high heel plug to an older mast, always check the total mast length to ensure it does not exceed the maximum permitted length of 2350 mm.
