Inboard Clam Shell Batten End for 8mm Batten.
The inboard clam shell batten end is designed to be used on mainsails with a bolt rope.
The batten can be installed at a 45 to 90-degree angle from the mast, ideal for square top or pin head mainsails.
The middle plastic part is typically fitted within the batten pocket. The two side plates then clamp the unit together from the outside.
If fitted tight to the bolt rope it means no bumper is required and allows the sail to run smoothly up and down the mast track.
Made from a UV stable plastic with stainless steel fixing nuts and bolts.
