Wide Trapeze Ring With 20mm Ball Bearing Block And Stainless Steel Ring
The trapeze ring is a pivotal part of the trapeze setup. This ring allows the sailor to connect to the boat?s trapeze wires or ropes. By hooking into the trapeze ring and leaning out over the water, the sailor effectively extends their body away from the boat, creating a counterbalance to the force of the wind in the sails.
This is our most popular trapeze ring as it features a wide loop for quick and easy location onto your trapeze hook. The built-in block has ball bearings to allow for a friction-free adjustment of the 2:1 trapeze height adjustment rope.
Can also be used for a 1:1 system by tying around the sheave of the block instead.
The small support cross bar gives the loop more strength as well as offers a good point to attach return elastic from the boat to the loop.
