MadMounts ILCA Pro
Designed for in-front-of-mast location specified by Class Management at most recent Worlds. Light and stiff, with features to deflect mainsheets from fellow competitors during maneuvers in tight quarters. Design allows for use with protective computer case, without increasing mass of mount. Aerodynamic trailing edge minimizes windage and deflects water coming over the bow.
Integrated bungee preventer system—route supplied bungee through tunnel on mount top and secure both ends to mast. Prevents mainsheets from getting in between mast and mount; provides additional “hold down” to mount.
Base of mount has a skirt to hide the supplied 3M Dual Lock that secures mount to deck; also allows clean, flush fit to deck. Utilizes MadMounts exclusive, integrated quick release system (no need to use VK diamond; provides much stronger holding power). Heavy duty spring is hidden inside a cavity, keeping it away from the harmful effects of salt water. Safety tether also included.
