The Optimist SILVER regatta mast set contains:
- EX1005 – Optimist SILVER regatta mast
- EX1022 – Optimist SILVER regatta 40 mm boom
- EX1041 – Optimist SILVER regatta 27 mm sprit
This Optimist spar set is less stiff than Blackgold spars and is ideal for lightweight Optimist sailors who just started racing. The SILVER Optimist mast, boom and sprit are made of high quality aluminium tube. The lightweight 40 mm SILVER Optimist boom is much stiffer than the 32 mm Optimist school boom and will allow the sailor to put more tension on the leach. The 27 mm SILVER Optimist sprit has 15 cm anti chafe protection tubing.
