Spinlock XCS Rope Clutch for 08–14 mm Lines Vertical Ceramic Cam
The Spinlock XCS Rope Clutch is designed for reliable mid- to high-load rope control, combining durable alloy construction with dependable holding performance across a wide range of line sizes. Its robust design makes it especially suitable for demanding mounting locations such as masts, spars, side decks, and coamings.
Available in single, double, triple, and selected horizontal configurations, the XCS range offers versatile installation options while maintaining easy access to mounting fasteners. Aluminium side plates provide the strength required for sustained higher-load operation and are available in white coated, black anodized, silver polished alloy, and selected stainless-steel-side versions.
The extruded alloy handle includes a soft end grip for comfortable operation and locks securely in both the open and closed positions. Selected models are also available with a ceramic-coated cam and base for consistent holding performance with modern high-tech lines.

Model Selection
XCS0610
For 6–10 mm (1/4"–3/8") lines, with best performance on 8–10 mm lines. Recommended for high-strength, small-diameter rope and loads up to 700 kg (1,543 lb).
XCS0814
For 8–14 mm (5/16"–9/16") lines, offering strong performance across a broader rope range and loads up to 1,200 kg (2,640 lb).
Lock-Open Cam Versions
Selected XCS/L models include a special lock-open function. When engaged, the line can run freely in both directions while the handle remains closed. Normal clutch operation can be restored whenever holding is required.
Side Mounting
Side mounting is often the cleanest installation solution for spars, side decks, and coamings. Optional side fairings and mounting accessories are available separately for selected XCS models.
